All members, when renewing, must complete a Renewal Membership form with Release and Indemnification Agreement as well as pay renewal fee. Lifetime Members must fill out forms but do not have to pay any fee. You may complete renewal and pay online by using the Renew Membership link below. All annual memberships expire on Dec 31, each year, regardless of which month the membership began.
Annual memberships purchased now, will be valid through Dec 31, 2022.

Discovery of any attempt to falsify information or deceive Kern River Valley Gun Association in an application in order to secure or renew a membership will result in immediate termination of that membership.
All members and their guests must be legally entitled to use a firearm under all applicable Federal and State law before using the range.

Any new members (or current members) who need orientation and a review of range safety rules should visit the range during public hours (see the Calendar) when a Range Safety Officer is on duty. Also available, is a written “Range Orientation” file located on the right side of this page under “Meeting Minutes”. Contact KRVGA for any questions or further information regarding orientation and training.

* All types of lifetime members must fill out and submit this form annually. This is required to keep our records up to date, verify we have a correct, current address to mail the gate code and to comply with insurance regulations. We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience. If you wish to send it in by mail instead, just download and print the regular mail-in 2023 Application. Fill out completely with lifetime membership number and sign both pages. There is no fee for the annual update.

Camping
Members and their guests would have the additional benefit of overnight dry
camping on the Kern River Valley Gun Association grounds.
Overnight dry camping would consist of any Motorhome, 5th Wheel, Pull Trailer or Camper.
- Dry Camping Only.
- There are no hook ups.
- There is no water on site.
- There is no electricity.
- There are no showers or restrooms (other than porta potties for the range)
- No tent camping is permitted.
There is a 4 night maximum stay, unless approved by a member of the board.
Members must register in the Camping Log (located in the office) with the date, time, quests names and vehicle/RV information. Also, members must sign out upon leaving.
Per the Forest Service, fire permits are not required on the range, as it is considered private property. Campfires must be contained in an appropriate fire pit. No ground fires or bonfires will be permitted.
The grounds should be cleared of all trash when leaving. The dumpster at the range is for range use only. There is a dump station about 1 mile south on Sierra Way at Camp 9 Recreation Area Campground. Dump station fee is $10 per use.
All Kern River Valley Gun Association Rules and Regulations apply during overnight stay. There will be consequences for inappropriate behavior which could result in the loss of membership.
Donations are always welcome and can be left in the drop box provided in the sign-in office.
Dump station and potable water is available about 1 mile south of the range at Camp 9 ($10 fee for dumping).
Quiet Time is from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM. No generators or other loud activity during these times.
Designated camping area is the area east of the entry road; south and west of the Archery range road; north of the Cowboy Action range.
