Old Business:

  • Training Room Flooring. Kee Johnson met with Isabella Flooring at the classroom and he said he would sand the present wood and replace some nails with screws.  When Kee picked up the estimate it included $1,896.00 to furnish and install a sub-floor.  Jim Gordon wants to do it for a lot less than that with flooring from Lowe’s or Home Depot.  We will get together with him.
  • Surveillance System – $1,400 per system. Recommend we purchase one system for Training Room/Trap/Cowboy/Archery range.  Evaluate before purchasing a second system to replace existing system at rifle/pistol range.  Vote taken to purchase one system.  No opposition.
  • New concrete stations on the Trap Range. Doug Rudolph is meeting with Gilbert Vega this Saturday for an estimate and will also check with another local company.  Vote next month on this.
  • Heat Pump system to heat and cool Training Room. Calls are out but no one has called back.  Jim Gordon has a used air/heating system that he will give the club and make a bracket to mount it on the roof.  Some concern about it being too heavy for the roof.
  • 8’ X 7” Roll-up door on Cowboy container $2,500. Jim Gordon said he is having a roll-up door installed in his business for $600.  Thinks we can get it done for less than $2,500.  Tim Scroghan is supposed to coordinate with Jim Gordon on this.

Range Executive Officer Report:

  • First Aid/CPR Training for RSOs on May 15 at the Elks Lodge in Wofford Heights from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Will also include AED machine.  Class is free.  If you want a card it is $35.00.
